Good news! Mike was offered a job at Direct TV as an installer! He starts training on Monday the 9th at 8am!! Reagan will start at day care as well on Monday. We’re excited and nervous at the same time.
On another note, I’m very happy with Office Depot right now. Mike purchased Quickbooks PRO for $199 on February 20th. This past Sunday I saw it was on sale for $99. I went in and they not only gave me the price adjustment but the free promotional softward as well. I was very pleased they offered it all to me.

Reagan is just so cute! While Mike is at Clearlake for the FLW Stren event, Reagan is going to our friend’s house to be babysat. Carissa has watched Reagan several times for us when Mike has been out of town. She has a two-year old named Aubree and an 8 year-old step-daughter name Bailey and Reagan is just loving them! When I dropped her off yesterday, the girls were ready for Reagan with the toys on the floor. When we put her down with them, she started smiling and dancing to the music. Today she started laughing and smiling the minute we walked in and she saw Aubree. She didn’t even notice me leaving as she was so involved with Aubree and her toys. It’s so cute to see her interact so well! On the way there, she was taking her toy keys and holding them up to her ear and talking! I think she watches Mommy a little too closely ;o)

So much going on, so little time and space to tell it all! Mike is scaling back big time on fishing and focusing on his new business, fire sprinkler installation and back-flow inspections. He wants to be home more now that we have Reagan. With this economy being the way it is, it’s hard to get sponsors as well. It’s also hard for us to keep the house so we’re trying to work with the lender to modify our loan, but so far it’s been fruitless. We may be short-selling and down sizing to an apartment for the time being. You may be thinking, what about the dogs? We’re finding a home for them as we speak. Dixie was listed on a rescue site and we may have found a potential owner for her. We get to meet them this weekend. We’re still working on Rebel for now. It’ll be sad but for the better for both of them since we can’t spend the time with them like we used too.
I’m is still at Allstate and seem to be doing well. As the primary source of income, I’m doing everything I can to look good! Reagan is possibly starting day care in a week! Mike finds out Wednesday if he gets a job at Direct TV as an installer and if so, he starts training on March 9th and Reagan will be in day care. One of my friends and co-worker’s daughter has a licensed day care in her house. I chatted with her for quite a while tonight and it looks very promising. She’s seems pretty reasonable in pricing as well. Reagan will go Friday morning for a couple hours to do a test-run as well as let Mike get some hands-on work done on back-flows.
Speaking of Reagan, she’s crawling on her knees now on the carpet and still does a half-crawl, half-drag on the tile floor. She talks constantly! She’s really starting to communicate more and mimic and repeat what we say to her. She doesn’t miss a thing that’s going on around her either! She’s eating a lot more solid foods as well.
I’ll be shutting down the Babyhomepages site in the next couple months so be sure to bookmark this page for your updates!

Our little one arrived 8 weeks ago after 22 hours of labor. She is just the joy of our lives! Our families have visited us to meet and play with little Reagan Lindsey.
Everything is updated at www.babytuck.net/babytuck
Mike is a stay at home dad for the summer while Mary went back to work after 6 weeks. It was hard to adjust to but a comfort knowing she is at home with her father and not at day-care. Mary is back on leave in September for another 6-7 weeks.
We’re traveling quite a bit this summer. Mike leaves on July 5th for Nashville via the highway as he is towing his boat back there. He has a Championship in South Carolina in August so he plans to get out there and pre-fish. Mary and Reagan will fly to Nashville on the 8th for family to meet her. We’ll then fly to South Carolina in August for the Championship. Grandma Pat and Nana Sherrill will be coming out in two separate weeks in July to watch Reagan while mom is at work and dad is in South Carolina. We know they are looking forward to that! Mom and Reagan will accompany Dad to Washington in September for the FLW tournament at the Columbia River. Mom and Reagan will go to Seattle for a couple days to visit Mom’s old roommate and her family.

Happy New Year! Can anyone really grasp that 2007 is officially gone? I can’t say that I’m too bummed as we’re really looking forward to 2008 and what it has in store for us. We’re expanding our family with BT’s arrival in April. We’re planning a location change out of state towards the end of the year. It’s a new year for Mike to embark in with his fishing career. We both turned 30 and are ready to embrace the new decade. All in all we are looking forward to the new year!
Thanksgiving and Christmas have come and gone with not much fanfare. We really enjoyed two visits from Mary’s family for each holiday. Thanksgiving brought the Creans and Tucks together for the first time since the wedding (I think.) We had a great time talking, eating and playing Catch Phrase. At Christmas, all of the Creans were here to enjoy the holiday along with John’s girlfriend, Jess. It was a such a pleasure to get know her and Mary’s niece Keira. They both have such fun personalities.
We found out on the 3rd that we’re having a girl!! She was looking good and healthy and progressing nicely. Mary has really been feeling her move since Thanksgiving and Mike finally felt her recently. It’s been very exciting and makes it so real now! This little girl is all ready quite spoiled with numerous gifts for Christmas. Her wardrobe is beginning to take shape quite nicely. Hopefully we’ll get her furniture soon and be able to really put the room together. Aunt Gaile and Uncle Michael have given us several much needed items that used to be Cousin Keira’s so we are forever grateful to not have to try and accumulate this stuff our selves.
The last week of November found us in Tennessee visiting family and then to Indiana to see our good friends get married. We had a good time house hunting in TN and have narrowed our choice of location down to one or two areas. We plan to return in the summer to look for our house of choice. Indiana was a fun and the wedding was just gorgeous.
Our flight home was delayed so much that we were able to go to a Colts game. It was a blast!!! Mike finally got to see Peyton play as a pro after watching him at UT for years.
Mary returned to work on the 4th. It wasn’t as bad as she expected as it was nice to be able to ease back in to the flow of things. People at work are very excited about the pregnancy and keep commentating on how cute Mary looks right now. It’s funny!
Mike is up at Shasta right now getting ready for tournaments on January 5th/6th and Stren on January 9th – 12th. It’s very cold up there and will be colder at the end of the week with a storm front coming in. Mary is heading up on the 6th to celebrate her birthday with him and friends. The rest of the Tuck clan is in Tennessee rallying around Nana as she prepares for triple bypass surgery.

So I admit to being the worst blogger around! It’s been months and months since anyone updated any posts. Last we saw, Mike had a tremendous day at the Ca Delta back in March. Well he didn’t win that tournament having finished in 37th place and netting a nice check. From there he went to Clearlake in late April where he finished 2nd, barely missed first by OUNCES! It was a real bummer. Then back to the Ca Delta where he finished in 80th place. He was getting pretty burned out by then having fished 15 tournaments by that time. There were a couple small tournaments in the summer before he went up to the Columbia River in Wa for the FLW National Guard Series event. He did very well there considering this was the first time he fished this waterway. He finished in 17th place. It was a great way to start off the fall tournaments. He went back to Clearlake in mid-October and didn’t do as well as it wasn’t the spring bite he so famous for netting. He came home for 24 hours before he embarked on a cross country journey to Mobile, Al. for the FLW Stren Championship. He had a decent pre-fish, even catching a 6 foot alligator!!
But then the cold front moved in right before the tournament and changed his bite so he didn’t get a check. On his way home he stopped in Tx at Lake Amistad to practice a bit as he has the FLW National Guard Championship in early February. This lake is fascinating as it shares the US border with Mexico. Yep there is a Mexico side of the lake and a US side of the lake. Kind of creepy if you ask me!
Mike will be home for a few weeks to enjoy the holidays with family before it all starts again in January. He’ll be up at Lake Shasta for our 30th birthdays. I’m still trying to decide if I really want to celebrate my 30th birthday in Redding or not. It’s not like I can party it up anyway as I am pregnant again! We’re 4 months along and due near the end of April. Check out the baby website. The first trimester was rough but now I’m feeling like my old self again. I’m off work for a month due to stress. It was getting pretty difficult there for a while.
Looking forward to my family coming up from San Diego for Thanksgiving. Mike Sr, Carol and Ryan will be joining us for turkey day as well. It’s been too long since we hosted Thanksgiving. We just found out that my brother Mike, his wife Gaile and their adorable daughter, Keira will be joining us for Christmas. It’s going to be a great holiday season!
Drop us a line sometime!

Mike is home after being gone for almost three weeks! He had come home for 3 days for New Years and then left again to practice fishing. He finished third at the FLW Stren Event at Lake Shasta, netting $12,500 for the finish. Not a bad way to start off the New Year! I went up to see him on Friday the 12th as did his dad and step-mom, Carol. They actually came up on Saturday to see his final day as he was leading going into the final day. You can see all the articles and updates here. Mike will be home for almost two weeks before taking off to Lake Havasu for the FLW National Guard Series that starts January 31. He can only pre-fish for four days prior, hence his not leaving so early. Thank goodness he’s home for a while as his honey-do list is growing by the day!!
I’m still off work recovering from our miscarriage and my D&C. I doing pretty good for the most part but wanted to take the time to fully recover before jumping back into the swing of things. With Mike’s season in full gear, I need to be at the top of my game in holding down the fort. I’ll be returning on January 22 and working full time. My work has been so supportive and helpful.
